Summary
The client was a fast-growing van-sharing platform who wanted to build a creator management platform as an internal tool. They were already regularly working with content creators on their content production and marketing campaigns, and looking to scale up on this. However, the process was often messy at best, with multiple teams across the company having touchpoints with the creators.
My role
User research: I led and conducted research with internal users across the company - including marketing managers, regional managers and finance - as well as creators. Through this we mapped out the creator collaboration workflow, which allowed us to see the touchpoints and handoff points between teams, as well as existing challenges. This provided us with user requirements and features to improve on this end-to-end process, and informed product design.
Product management: I worked closely with product designers and the client team to set the development phases, objectives and roadmap prioritization.
